The techniques and strategies in collaboration for Inclusion teachers and General Education teachers in the Elementary school
• Identify a key issue your school or agency is facing (different from topics for previous assignments).
• Provide general solutions to the issue based on your knowledge of the issue gained in the course and related reading, research, blogs, chats, etc.
• Connect people to the research. Contact an expert in the area such as a local superintendent, professor, director, author, etc. to gain a perspective related to the issue as it applies to your situation.
• Summarize the process you would use to communicate these recommendations to staff to realize the most effective results in implementing any changes in practice.
• Reflect on your learning experience and write a summative report that includes a synthesis of your experience and any changes you might have experienced in personal or professional attitudes, beliefs and actions because of exploring the issue. In your written discussion include how the solution strategies you proposed could result in a change in practice in your workplace and how that may impact you personally or professionally.
