University: Third year Biomedical Science
My programme for this scheme: UNIQ+
Final year project. The study is around, ‘A study of the reproducibility of cytotoxicity and genotoxicity assays using well-characterised chemotherapeutic agents’. strong interest in oncology which is why and the effect carmustine and etoposide has on the cell line using cell titer, trypan blue, comet and micronucleus assays.

be ordinarily resident in the UK without any restrictions on how long you can stay
be currently undertaking or have completed an undergraduate degree at a UK or Irish university; and
be in at least the second year of your course if you have not graduated yet (I am in my third year); and
meet at least one of the following criteria:
belong to an ethnic group under-represented at Oxford (Black or Mixed Black, Bangladeshi or Mixed Bangladeshi, and Pakistani or Mixed Pakistani);
come from a neighbourhood which is classed as ACORN 4 or 5 or POLAR (4) Quintile 1 or 2 (find out how to check) in the final calendar year of your secondary school education when you sat your exams, for example, A-Levels (this would normally be at age 18). The lower the more at disadvantage you are. Research for relevancy.
Family members have passed away from cancer and Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
