INVESTIGATING LUNG FUNCTION USING AIRFLOW TESTS TO IDENTIFY THE LINK BETWEEN BMI, HEIGHT, AND GENDER
This will be a mini-project focusing on respiratory diseases ASTHMA & COPD. The experiment was conducted by the university due to COVID-19, therefore SECONDARY DATA will be used in this paper (this is very important to mention). Ensure that you write the report in third person and past tense.
The Introduction and literature review should include the following:
Introduction
• Stats and links with respiratory defects and diseases and causes Introduction/ literature review
• Lung function
• Spirometry- what is it and how it works
• BMI, Height, and Gender effects on spirometry
• Spirometry parameters
• VC, TV, ERV, IRV
• Diseases Asthma and COPD
• Difference in parameters of spirometry with these diseases.
