Detailed information regarding what to include in the strategic plan can be found in the reading “Preparing an Effective Case Analysis” that is located in the last section of the textbook, Part 4, “Cases and Activities.” In that reading, Table 2 provides an outline to which your strategic plan must conform.
In addition to filling out the outline provided in Table 2 by following the directions set forth in “Preparing an Effective Case Analysis,” when completing the section “Internal Analysis,” you must provide an analysis of the company’s financial condition by means of examining at least two ratios of each of the five types of financial ratios set forth in Appendix II of “Preparing an Effective Case Analysis.”
The strategic plan must be typed, double spaced, use 12-point Times New Roman font, have one-inch margins, and be paginated. It also must be properly documented using either Chicago or APA documentation style. All information that is not common knowledge must be appropriately documented. In the strategic plan 10 sources other than the textbook must be cited, and all material must be properly cited.
