Student must demonstrate the ability to critically debate the topic, therefore you need to identify and present a balanced argument.
Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this assessment, a student will be able to:
• Discuss the latest reports and policies on local, national and international health and wellbeing
• Appraise the potential impact of health trends for the population, community groups and individuals
• Examine current research related to health and wellbeing
• Debate the issues of individual and societal responsibility in relation to changes in health trends
2. Rationale for assessment
The assessment is to develop student’s ability to critically evaluate and critique current UK polices in health and wellbeing by assessing the impact of these policies for specific communities or populations groups. Th is may include examining research as well as strategies or initiatives from relevant organisations to assess the delivery of these polices. The assessment allows the students to consolidate all their knowledge and development of their programme within health and wellbeing.

2. Conduct a literature search to establish current UK polices, reports that are nationally, as well as
logically within the context of the chosen area.
