Critically analyse how you have planned and facilitated learning for a District nurse student on a transition programme to practice nursing to enhance their learning. Analyse learning theories. In the course of supporting them in their transition, I use Kolb’s experiential learning cycle Kolb D.A (1984) to engage and guide them into their new role. In this essay will be facilitating learning on taking a cervical smear which is one of the major procedures for practice nurses in General practice.
