Discuss parental involvement in schooling and students educational achievement (primary stage).

I would like to understand more about this theoretical part for my research, as this will be the theoretical framework ( cultural and social capital) and how it affects into the educational achievement . The main research is about parental involvement in schooling and students educational achievement (primary stage).
The main difficulties how to based this topic to a theoretical framework ( which I think it can be related to social and cultural theory).
