This will include:
• An overview of the causal theories;
• An overview of the barriers to learning these are likely to produce in dyslexics;
• Some generic support strategies;
• How a Functional Skills (English) learner fits the theories (or
not)
• Their specific barriers to learning;
• The strategy/strategies which would be relevant to them;
• An investigation of dyslexia screening tools giving their advantages and disadvantages.
