5. Relate one of the texts to a contemporary issue that we are currently experiencing.
How does a particular social division in a historical text inform current
discussions of that same social division? How might the text help us overcome or
mitigate some aspects of the social inequalities produced by this social division?
In other words, how can the text help us better understand and combat the
negative effects of social divisions?
