Assignment criteria details:
The student will demonstrate an understanding of some of the key concepts and ideas from this module through the completion of a final project. The student will also demonstrate an ability to analyse, critique, and evaluate concepts and ideas and apply them to various situations. This assignment can be a written academic essay.
Specific:
All essays need to follow proper formatting guidelines (e.g. 4,000 words, normal font and margins, double-spaced, etc.)
All projects need to have sources (from inside and outside of the module) that are properly cited in Harvard format.
Topics:
Choose your own final project topic. Remember, this project needs to demonstrate an understanding of key concepts from this course and apply them critically to practice, policy, etc. It also needs to be 4,000 written words.
Choose a country that you know well and write on ways that ‘disability’ is socio-culturally constructed in that country’s education system. (Remember to avoid over-generalizations and personal opinions!)
