Annotated Bibliography Assignment
• Prepare and bring to class an annotated bibliography that includes the 4 sources that you hope to include in your literature review.
• An annotation should consist of:
o The citation in correct APA style.
o A summary of the theoretical perspective(s) that the author is using to explain the connections between concepts.
o Key findings or conclusions (especially those most relevant to your topic.)
• Briefly discuss whether the findings that you included support, or fail to support, the theory (e.g. two variables were hypothesized to be related, but it turns out they weren’t – the findings fail to support the theory.)
• Each annotation should be between ½ and 1 page long.
