Create a “Tell Your Story” design. You’ll design SOMETHING (a brochure, bookmark, magnet, or design piece of your choice) that tells others about the *Communication Program at King. You’ll tell others why you study *COMM and why others should study COMM at King University too.
Answer each question thoughtfully and fully to earn all points possible. Analyze the rhetorical situation.
a. Is your intent to inform or persuade? How can you accomplish the intended goal?
b. Who is your message directed to? Adults for the adult education
c. Where will your design be viewed? What will your design piece be? Magnet
a. Why? Justify exactly why you’ve chosen that medium and explain why you think it’s a persuasive way to get others’ attention.

Where will the eye be drawn exactly? What information is emphasized? What content will you group together? How many times will the eye stop?

4. What content will you include about yourself? Draft your “story” in 2-4 sentences, and explain WHY you are including that information.
For example: chose to study communication at King University to open many career opportunities when graduate. Also, taking classes one evening a week at the Knoxville campus has helped me maintain a full-time job while earning my degree. – Jane Doe Will you develop your own tagline?
