This week’s case study will stretch your brain to look at different data: employee (nurse) engagement/satisfaction.
The engagement of the nursing employees is also measured through the Press Ganey engagement survey. Data is collected yearly and benchmarked against similar institutions. The scale is 0-5 for all questions.
Take a look at the data. Discuss areas for improvement as well as strengths. Discuss how you might implement a plan to further improve the data or enhance the outcome (better-engaged nurses).
When you this project, please pay attention to how often you will continue monitoring the data to make sure that you are seeing improved results. You want to make sure that, when you implement a change, you are seeing positive results in the data.
