Disruptive Innovation is a principle in which a major change to a monolithic practice results in a greater level of success in an industry. For example, corporate-owned computers were replaced by computers that could be purchased and owned privately.
For this writing assignment, describe a monolithic practice in education that you feel is particularly ineffective, and offer a “disruptive innovation” that would replace it. Please take some time to describe what the results of that innovation would be, and how things would be improved by the adoption of that practice.
