Write a two-page paper discussing the strengths and weaknesses of what you perceive the Obama administration’s counter terrorism strategy to have been in 2016. Your paper should address the following questions:
What ethical implications are inherent in this decision to employ advanced technology in battlefields far removed from the American homeland, with weapons that cannot be defended against by our adversaries?
Do you agree with the authors that terrorism is not irrational? Is it either unethical or politically dangerous for a nation to try to respond to the grievances of terrorists as part of their anti-terrorist strategy?
Is there a more ethical, but at the same time equally effective, method the United States could employ to defeat terrorists in remote countries?
Be specific in your responses and use concrete examples from the textbook, supplemental readings, outsides sources, and personal experiences to frame your writing.
Use at least two scholarly resources in addition to the readings assigned in this workshop.
