The presentation should include the following elements:
• Summary of the content of the article
• Analysis of how it connects to at least two relevant aspects of McDonaldization
Efficiency, calculability, predictability, control
• Assessment of how students may use the content of the article in their own life, as part of their Personal Development 3
• One or two discussion questions for the class10 minute presentation
At the end of the presentation, they will provide the class with a list of 3 to 5 broad discussion questions focusing on linking the reading to McDonaldization that the class will answer as a group. They will also give a written summary of the chapter to their instructor. The presentation should incorporate the core value of Personal Development, by showing how the student can use the content of the reading for their own personal growth.
