Writing is not only an essential means of communication, but a superb learning tool as well, allowing you to develop your thoughts logically and really come to grips with what you do and do not understand. The overall goal of this paper is foryou toreview aconcept fully as described by Lambert (2018), backing it by relevantand relatedliterature, identifying the gaps in our understanding and the experiments that could be performed to bridge these gaps. You may use a combination of primary research articles and reviews, books and other sources, but must include at least twoprimary sources of research articles. In other words, at a minimum you mustcite at least threeprimary sourcesand one ofthese mustbe your textbook. You should strive to find the most authoritative and/or up-to-date sourcesand refrain from using any general web pages (sources such as WebMD or Wikipedia), blogs, or any sites without clear academic authorship. Academic honesty is imperative. Your paper should not resemble anyone else’s paper for this or any other classand should not be similar to a paper you have prepared for another course. A SafeAssign report will be run when you submit your paper to review the paper for possible plagiarism. You will be able to review the report shortly after you submit your paper. Research papers are an opportunity for you to clearly explain your understanding of a topic and the research surrounding that topic in your own words. So please paraphrase your sources in your own words and avoid quoting from your sources except in rare instances. If you do quote directly from any source, use quotation marks and identify that source as you would when paraphrasing but you must add the exact page number where the quote was found to the in-text citation. I will grade the papers based upon relevance, research, style, content, and references using a grading rubric that you can view at theassignment linkin Blackboard.Style:Is the paper well-structuredand well-organized with a clear introduction and conclusion? Are grammar and spelling correct? Are references cited correctly in the text and at the end? Is the paper a pleasure to read? I strongly recommend that you write your paper a few days early and let it sit so that you can review it with a fresh eye. It is also a good idea to get input from a friend or from a Writing tutor at USCB’sStudent SuccessCenter.Content and references:Do you cover the most important points of the topic? Do you have up-to-date information? Were you able to locate relevant and important sources of information for your topic? Having trouble finding information?
