Applied social psychology is a growing area of the field, and this assignment is meant to introduce you to this way of thinking and conducting research. For this project you will develop and submit a proposal for a social program, social change or social intervention that is focused on making a positive change to a “community” or “social group” that you feel related to, or are interested in. You will NOT actually be conducting the intervention as part of the project, but will be submitting a proposal outlining what you would do, and that explains how your suggestions are integrating social psychological research.
