Have you ever wondered how corporations such as CBS, BMW, Apple, or IBM establish their corporate images and how important these company images are in promoting their respective franchises? Where do company logos and the corporate identity system come from and how does it evolve?
Your assignment is to research the history of a well-known company’s corporate identity system and their logo and to write a 5-page paper in support of your findings.
Your paper should include the following:
Description of the logo/identity of the company you have chosen.
History of the company and the development of the logo/identity.
How the identity system and logo has evolved to reflect society.
Who the designer(s) were.
What is unique about the logo/identity?
What is recognizable about the branding?
How has technology influenced the evolution of your company and the development of their corporate identity/logo.
