Time constrained assignment (TCA)
Questions are based on Netflix case study
Based on your reading of the case study on Netflix and from your wider research of the organisation and its internal and external environment, you have to answer TWO questions, from the choice of four questions below. Each answer does not need to exceed 750 words with a total of no more than 1500 (+/-10%) words across both answers. All answers should include in-text citations and a reference list and these are in addition and outside the required word count.
Each answer carries 50% of the overall marks.
Question 1.
Analyse Netflix’s corporate communications through its use of corporate narrative techniques. Draw on relevant theory to analyse what elements and story themes are being used. Make one recommendation as to how Netflix could develop its corporate narrative strategy further.
Question 2.
The reputation of an organisation can vary across different stakeholder groups and be influenced by different factors. Evaluate reputation in the context of Netflix and identify and evaluate factors in its performance which may influence the shared but also different perceptions of two different stakeholder groups: investors and employees.
