(2) Newton and Kushe disagree about what the role of the nurse should be. Who do you agree with and why? Make sure your answer includes an explanation of the Traditional Role of the Nurse and give reasons why you agree with one view and why you disagree with the other view (i.e., do not to simply copy Newton or Kushe’s view).
(3) Do you agree or disagree with Ackerman’s view regarding the “transforming effects of illness”? In other words, do you agree with Ackerman’s view that illness undermines patient autonomy and thus supports weak paternalism? Explain why or why not.
