For the purpose of this assessment, you are allowed to choose a cultural or educational event/ service in Southampton or other regions in England. By “cultural event” we understand any occasion or context that is meant to promote arts, cultural heritage, and religious events. When deciding on your event, discuss with the lecturer to make sure the proposal is viable. The event/ service existed or will exist in the future and it is not supposed to be the result of your imagination. All sections and the required appendices presented on page 2 are mandatory for the individual portfolio. For any missing section or required appendix, you will have the mark reduced by 20%. Please consider the Word Count specifications on page 3. Your report should be supported by relevant marketing literature. Furthermore, the report asks for your own insights, and ability to apply theoretical concepts and models in a critical manner. There is no need to redefine or re-explain theoretical concepts that were covered in the module, but rather make use of them to support your presentation. Explore and extend your reading beyond core texts.
