Answer the following questions using the links and videos provided. What is your opinion of sampling in the music industry? Is it a benign or harmful practice? Does a person sampling another musician have any personal or social responsibility regarding the musical material they are using? See the case of the Winstons and the “Amen Break” specifically. Please provide up to three examples supporting your position.
This video is very boring but fairly short. The next video is longer but has the same information. Feel free to watch both but you only have to watch one to get the idea behind the sampling concepts for Option A paper.
