The mine objective of the study is to examine the current accounting curricula of bachelor degree in Saudi Arabia and recommend changes in the curriculum (redesign).
Research questions:
What should be the major objectives of Saudi accounting education?
What is the importance of each courses in current curriculum?
What are the recommendations changes for curriculum?
What is the suitable strategy of developing the curriculum in the future?
Research problems:
1. No involvement of professional body and accounting practitioners in designing the curriculum. (Only the accounting educators who design it).
2. The current curriculum does not design according to intended learning outcomes.
3. The current curriculum is outdated.
* The sections of this research proposal should be: (I have the other sections such as research problem ,objectives etc)
First section: Literature review (three pages)
Second section: Framework. You have to define the theories that will use in research and how these theories help to explain and answer the questions, and include the figure of framework. (Three pages).
Third section: Methodology. Including the study design, you to write here about the research paradigm and outline the relevance of positivism, post positivism, interpretivism ect. (Three pages).
Note: The research will use mixed methods in collecting data (questionnaire and interviews). The participants in the research will be the accounting educators, accounting students, accounting body, and accounting practitioners.
Please, you write include the references, don’t write facts without references. In methodology, explain why you do that and how.
